I am by nature a recluse so I must work at maintaining my friendships.

Like Ellen Abbott, I'm reclusive by nature. I wish I would have tried harder at keeping the friends I've made throughout my life a bit closer to me. This is a melancholy post for me.

Ah, yes, and as I mentioned earlier, isn't it remarkable the amazing friends we make in the blogosphere. Sweet, sweet.

David: Thank you! Glad it struck your fancy

Jinksy: Thanks! Sure was fun to find the right shots for the quote!

Jane: yes, indeed!

Ellen: I think the best friendships are the easiest ones.

Alex: Nothing wrong with being reclusive. Seems to me like every little connection counts, including the cyber ones. That's the part of blogging I never realized would be so rewarding.

~ennui~: Loved your post! . . . think alike! ~;^D

Grace: Aren't those boys cuties? How fun is sledding, with or without dogs!!!

Pyzahn: Amen

Lovely. Last Saturday, we had a graduation party for my son. I looked around and realized that in the past few years, we have made some wonderful friends here in Spokane, and I was filled with gratitude.
