Dawn

"And so,
do not forget:
Every dawn as it comes
is a holy event
and every day is holy."

Time in Blogland has reached the fifth dimension, didn't you realise?!

I got up earlier than usual this morning, sitting here by the open windows listening to the birds and watching the mist over the (now empty) cornfield. The hummingbird has already been to visit the flowers growing right by the window. Very peaceful.

Congratulations on 200 posts! I had no idea bloggers have post anniversaries, and missed all my landmarks as well... 100, 200, 300 all passed - BUT - you can be sure I'm going to have a virtual blog party when I hit the 400 post mark. Won't you come?

Time does fly.

I've been playing with some yarn that I have in mind for you. Hmmm. It's beautiful. Do you hate a little mohair, or is it something you could live with? It would be warm, that's for sure.

kathleen , i love those ays when i wake up in time to see and experience the dawn. i'm up early but not often that early! however, i start every day with gratitude and encourage my family to feel the same. because even though there are days that feel ugly and unpleasant, they are still a gift even though the gift appears to be wrapped in sandpaper!!!! have a peaceful day. steven

Love the quote and the photo. Every day should be celebrated.
Congrats on 200! I passed 300 a couple of weeks ago and didn't notice. Life is busy, but that's a good thing... I think.

Hi Kathleen,

Beautiful though the dawn is, I try not to see it too often! Let's hope that tomorrow dawns brightly for our photo meme. See you there!
