You have bee-ewe-ti-ful animals (nice looking humans too) and Ginsberg makes that even more true. What a family!

(Interesting how it seems wishes/hopes comes true when they are written down as intentions. Thank you for the reminder!)

Ginsberg is definitely a dream come true. Congratulations... I'm looking forward to his homecoming.

By the way ~ the rest of your pack is outstanding and the photos superb. I really love the golden cat photo... is it just me, or is he glowing? I also love how discreet and modest he is. That's a cat for you.

And now, you'll have to move house, which is obviously the thought that just occured to Mr B!!

Aww. There's nothing that brings joy to a household like a new puppy. And what a beautiful family you have!

If I was younger, I would have my sights set on EarthDoctorSon. And the rest of your pack ain't too shabby either.

Congrats on having a great family and apparently a new puppy! And thank you for coming to my blog (white deer). I sincerely hope you'll stop back again and again. I post almost every day and don't know one animal lover who doesn't like to see animal pictures with their morning coffee (or late at night when they can't sleep, lol).

You said we share an interest in deer... is there a post of yours I should see?

Awwww. Life is good! Ginsberg will be getting a great new home. Hope Nemo, sweater included, on the Daily Puppy gets just as lucky.

Awwwww - you'll have lots of new material to blog about soon. Ginsberg is a great addition to your already fabulous Family.

@all: I am just tickled pink that you find my pack handsome. Honestly, I tried to find the silliest pictures of them all (except Ginsberg, of course), so one day I'll have to post more fetching ones (no pun intended) just for grins!
Kathleen said…
@Lydia: Thank you my dear. I am increasingly fascinated with the power of writing down our intentions. Actually, I should do a post on that sometime. Thank you for the idea!
Kathleen said…
@Alix: 'Tis possible Ulee is glowing, though he usually looks pretty ragged. He's not exactly a clean freak. LOL Thanks for your sweet comments about my pack!
Kathleen said…
@Mimi: Awwww, thank you! I'm rather fond of them!

@Derrick: I tell you, sir, you are a mind reader extraordinaire!!! Acquiring an Alaskan Husky has a way of changing one's lifestyle, that's for sure. I just watched a video clip from Scotland about a dog sledding event. Did you catch if by any chance?

@Steven: You are so kind! We do have quite the collection of beasts in this household! it does make life quite delightful. I am so looking forward to how Ginsberg will alter the dynamics of this home. And I'll keep you all posted!

@Willow: Thank you for your lovely comments. Such a silly collection of people and 4 legged ones. And you're so right, a puppy is just joy.
Kathleen said…
@Ellen: Ha! You cougar, you!!! (The comment has been made before -- my a neighbor, mind you!) Yet another reason why you must come visit! How many are we up to now?
Kathleen said…
@JGW: Thanks! I'm so tickled by the response to this post. Was there ever a sillier batch of photos!?
Kathleen said…
@Rochelle: So lovely to have you visit! Yes, Jan 18 "Following the elusive, the mystery, the silence" is very much about feeling a connectedness to deer. Let me know what you think! I'll be checking your posts regularly!
Kathleen said…
@Linda: Fabulous to see your avatar!!! Yes, I'm pretty excited about Ginsberg. And Nemo was absolutely adorable!!
Kathleen said…
@Barb: Thanks! From what Shannon has told me, Ginsberg is a "mama's boy" and is VERY attached to his Gwennie. So the transition is going to be quite interesting. Fortunately, we're a bunch of nurturing types here, so I suspect he'll get spoiled in a hurry.
Kathleen said…
@Nessa: Awww, thanks for that. We're quite the ensemble of characters, that's for sure!
Kathleen said…
@J: You can count on that! More coming very soon!
Kathleen said…
@lakeviewer: You got it! Should be lots of fodder. Hope I don't wear you all out with cuteness! I'll try to restrain myself!
Kathleen said…
@Pamela and Edward: Amen!
Kathleen said…
@Julie: I can just hear you now: "Puppeeeeeeee"!!!
I can't wait to meet him myself! We're going to be having some wild times at the Kimball/Baker clan! Weeeeeeeeeee
Kathleen said…
@Janie: Think we should add a horse or two? LOL!!
Kathleen said…
@Hilary: Thanks, my dear. You never know, perhaps when I get my sled someday, we'll come pay you a visit in Canada!
Kathleen said…
@Renee: Oh, indeed. Much love to you!
Unknown said…
Hi again Kathleen,

Yes, I did see a news item about the event. Noticed the sleds were pulled by only two dogs whereas the real ones seem to have loads of dogs! Also felt very sorry for the team that had to pull the reporter rather than the smaller, younger contestants!
Kathleen said…
@Derrick: I felt bad for that team too, but more because the dogs can tell a phony a mile away! The joy of the sport comes from the mutual understanding and respect that develops between the dogs and the humans. Its really pretty amazing. But i sound like a broken record, so I"m going to sign off now and travel 3 hours north and watch the start of the John Beargrease sled dog race, the longest in the lower 48!
Pictures to come!!
