Completely random and unrelated (I think)

I am loved

Sometimes that fact just astonishes me.
Can't explain why; it just does.
Today a dear friend said some of the kindest things to me,
things you just don't hear everyday.
She took the time (and great care) to let the people she holds close know why.
She's about to embark on a journey of great change,
and she marked that moment by expressing her love and appreciation.
She is a living example of gratitude
and how living gratefully makes you beautiful
in every way possible.
Must remember that.
Speaking of which,
I am grateful for you, my friends.

Friday Follies

Around 3 pm Friday,
2 of my colleagues and I hit a slump.
I was about to conk out at my desk and happened
to mention that little fact across the cubes.
Turns out I wasn't the only one.
And so we found a way to wake ourselves up.
Jumping!
That's right! Complete silliness.
Highly recommended!
We're thinking of bringing scooters
into work and racing them up and down the halls.
Better yet, Big Wheels!

Ginsberg update

So, I was looking at the pup and realized he is now the same size as Charlotte.
Light bulb moment!
I grabbed the itty bitty X-harness that Charlotte sometimes wears,
popped it on Ginsberg and thought:
Well, I'll just let him wear it and get used to the idea of having one.
And then nature called.
So I grabbed my hands-free leash and hooked him up.
Before I knew it, we were running!
Technically, what we did is called canicross,
one form of dryland training, which is what
mushers desperate for snow and in need
of training their teams do during the non-winter months.
You'd think the boy was born to do this.
Oh, that's right, he was!
Me, too.
Wheeeee!

This pup means business!

Looking forward to this view come winter!

Have a grand week!

Oh man. I LOVE the pics of you and your office mates jumping up and down. That is so cool! I bet it upped the mood in the office for the rest of the day.

Yeah, that pup definitely means business.

And YES about gratitude practice. Yes, yes, yes. Life is good and I am grateful is one of my favorite mantras.

Have a wonderful week.

Yep, so much to be grateful for. What fun at the office and with Ginsberg, better than wii fit plus! Love the canicross (new to my vocab) photo. And what a handsome dog, maturing from that adorable puppy!
What a great way to get the blood moving through our veins - jump! I'll try to remember that ... wonder what people will think when I hit that fatigue wall while out shopping - and start jumping?

Ginsberg has amazing eyes!

And yes, so much to be grateful for in this virtual world - and for me, you are among them.

Thank you!

Love your varied post! The image & words on love, gratitude & expression are a great reminder. Friday follies~ yep sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do to make work fun!

And lastly, thanks for posting new pics of Ginsberg! I've always wanted a Husky, but circumstances/living arrangements aren't right at this time... someday.
He's so beautiful & fun to watch him grow!

LOVE the pics!!! Ginsberg is a handsome, handsome boy. Wait till he fills out that harness. He'll get your office hopping around!
Thanks so much for the comment over my way and for sharing it with Ms. McKenna. I've been telling EVERYONE about her book--strangers sitting next to me in waiting areas, other parents at ballet class...my husband could probably quote it and my daughter is more germophobic ! I bought the book for my Kindle, but I realized about halfway through I was going to want the actual hardcopy. Ca-Ching!!!!
