Wind in the willows

 The breeze stirs . . .
can  you hear the willows whisperng?
you may need to get closer to hear
or stand underneath the limbs, flowing with flowers
listen

come a little closer
you should be able to hear now

I can almost hear the wind and feel the flowing limbs. There is something about nature than draws us together, perhaps because it makes us feel as if we're one small note in a large, complex, symphonic theme.

kathleen, there's a willow tree in my mum's backyard that likes people to sit at her feet. this post transported me to that place even as i looked at the exquisite photographs of your golden-haired girl. steven

Glowing photos and beautiful expression! Bet you wouldn't have called it a weeping willow. Lilacs soon! Glad all is well.

You have captured some amazing shots of the Willow tree. Don't stink bugs live in them?

The willow in spring is a most glamorous tree! All the seed pods and switches in their infinite connections are an apt metaphor for Life.

This is a lovely post and you make me want to run out and buy a willow...although I live in woods and have no open space. Great photos!
