Well, now you got me....you know me and Rumi, and so you'll know I love this one :))

I'm here, Kathleen...just putting it all together for a hopeful weekend premier :)))

It's not quite dawn and I am up, but it's cold and I'm going back to bed!

Liked the sentiment though.

Oh yes! A lovely message and a photo that makes me so thankful I live where the palm trees grow.

Wonderful stuff as usual, Kathleen!

Hi Kathleen,

Well, I was awake at 5am today but I forced myself to stay in bed until 8am! The dawn breezes would be just a tad too cold!

Dawn and dusk are my favourite times of day... though I'm awake much more often for the latter. ;)

Gorgeous photo.

@Braja: Thought you might like that one! Eagerly awaiting the premier!

@Poetikat: zzzzzzzzzzzz :)

@Alix: :) We grow palm trees in glass museums here!

@Derrick:You need never be too cold with silk longjohns, smartwood, and down! Still got snow?
Kathleen said…
@Hilary: Same! Though switching dog duties so that I walk them in the morning is how I've managed to get myself up earlier and catch the gorgeous emerging light. It's what gets me up watch morning! :)

That's why I keep a tablet by the bed, to scribble down those secrets!

@Willow: And that's one of the many reasons I adore your blog!

I never get up early enough to catch the dawn. Well, unless I'm having an insomnia night but even then I often fall asleep around 4:30 or 5.

And this morning, my breeze said, "hey you'd be better able to listen to me if you went to bed at a decent hour."

Perfect match of quote and picture.
And I love the moon in the picture too.
I always opt to go back to sleep, and don't know if that will ever change- just love my bed and my sleep too much to be bothered about anything else!

Dawn and dusk, two magical times of each day.
Kathleen said…
@Ellen: Oh how I do remember many many nights like you describe. Something changed after "the" change and I am most grateful!
Kathleen said…
@Rudee: Why do you suppose we do that to ourselves!!!??? I'm better about 60% of the time now. Sheesh!
Kathleen said…
@Mimi: hard to beat a great bed!
Kathleen said…
@Jane: I couldn't agree with you more!

I love getting outside at dawn. It does seem like the dawn sky is whispering secrets.
