To sleep in peace . . .

"Have courage for the great sorrows of life
and patience for the small ones;
and when you have laboriously
accomplished your daily task,
go to sleep in peace.

God is awake."

Kathleen, I am amazed at what all you have been doing. Ginsberg has grown up so much and he is one very determined dog. It must take a lot of exercise to keep him calm.

I hope your husband's surgery went well. I didn't know that you had knee surgery. I hope that helps relieve your pain.

The poetry and photos are spectatular. I enjoyed catching up with you.

Since hard work at home, and even harder on my job did not work to induce sleep last night, I'm going to try saying this as a mantra.

I love the quote. It's nice to have the reminder that someone is standing guard through our trials.
The photo is beautiful, and gives a sense of peace that goes well with the quote.

Wonderful quotation, so fitting with the photo.

How's the knee doing? Are you "listening" to it and taking care?

Oh look at that sky! Portents of peace or turbulence to come? It's a fantastic photograph, and the quote from Hugo is perfect.

Congratulations on the post of the week mention.

I really am just mesmerized by that sky.
